We would like to announce a workshop on October 12th. We are having a
presentation on Teaching Writing and Critical Thinking in US History.
This
workshop is available to any teacher who teaches U.S. History (5th, 8th
or
11th grade) because the materials for the workshop are specific to
those
classes. Participants will receive a $250 dollar binder of primary sources and
support materials to implement historical thinking in their classrooms.
This
workshop will especially help for teachers interested in working with
Common
Core State Standards and collaborating with Language Arts teachers in
their
school.
